I am a
big microwave fan. I make my tea in the microwave, and warm it once or twice before
finally finishing it.
Also,
not unlike many people I know, we warm at least one food item during lunch and
dinner.
Today
my wife announced, “Everything is piping hot. We don’t need the microwave.” I
then suggested that we should give it to someone.
She
said, “Give what?”
I said,
“The microwave.”
She
said, “Why?”
I said,
“You just said, ‘We don’t need the microwave.’ ”
She
just looked at me as if I were crazy.
For centuries, the opponents of the Qur’an have been playing similar games with the verses of the Qur’an by quoting them out of context.
