Announcing a new P.O.S.T. - certified training: "Working With the American-Muslim Community"

This course provides information that will enhance law enforcement professional skills in interacting (i.e. interviewing, gathering information, etc.) with members and institutions of the American Muslim community. Of the estimated 6 million Muslims living in the U.S., more than one million live in California. The training is designed to address prejudice, protocols in interaction, and building cooperative relationships.

To date, we have successfully presented "Working with the American-Muslim Community" training to 15 police, sheriffs departments and district attorneys offices. A reference list of training managers, where we have presented this training is available upon request.

Training cost:

Planned for two and four hour segments, the seminar is tailored for law enforcement agencies and is a combination of presentations by Muslims from your local community, and "Q& A" sessions. There are two options for training, one conforms to P.O.S.T. certification, and the other is more flexible.

P.O.S.T. Certified option:

Fee: $375 for one two-hour presentation on site to any number of participants
Other fees: $10 per training packet for each participant plus travel if traveling outside the San Francisco Bay Area
